Monday News You Can Use!

“When you are having fun and creating something you love, it shows in the product. So when a woman is sifting through a rack of clothes, somehow that piece of clothing that you had so much fun designing speaks to her; she responds to it and buys it. I believe you can actually transfer that energy to material things as you’re creating them.”

Mind Hack of the Week

Overcoming a fear of cold calling. First – it’s not your fault!! Many trainers tell you to “get over it” by doing massive numbers of calls or tell you to learn some magic words – basically making it your fault. Internally we still hear that voice that makes us uncomfortable and we know that traditional sales approached like these invite rejection. We do and that’s what we fear. So let ‘s focus instead on positive outcomes, are you willing to try? First, realize that you don’t have to be “salesy” and aggressive. There is a middle ground of coming from a spirit of contribution. This comes from a language that makes sense and is comfortable to you. Often times this involves asking momentous questions that show you are there to help solve their problem and make the decision to buy or sell easier and more profitable. Ask momentous questions, do not use aggressive scripts and you’ll be surprised at how enjoyable calling FSBO’s, Expireds, and Centers of Influence can be!
